The Next Step After Fringe
The 30–60 Minute Festival Fringe Extension Awards were created, in part, to help outstanding Fringe productions continue their journey beyond Fringe.
Every year, producers, judges, reviewers, presenters, and members of the press discover productions that deserve additional visibility, audience development, and performance opportunities. These awards are designed to support those productions as they take their next step.
Whether you're extending a successful Fringe run, preparing for Edinburgh, developing a future tour, or simply looking to keep your momentum going, the 30–60 Minute Festival offers an opportunity to continue building your audience and your work.
Eligible Festivals
Productions participating in the following 2026 festivals are eligible for consideration:
• Hollywood Fringe Festival (Los Angeles)
• San Diego International Fringe Festival
• Denver Fringe Festival
• Fallout Fringe Festival (Las Vegas)
• Atlanta Fringe Festival
Additional festivals may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Fringe Extension Awards
Two productions will be selected. (Additional awards and prizes may be added)
🏆 30 Minutes or Less Fringe Extension Award (for July '26 or January '27)
🏆 30–60 Minute Fringe Extension Award (for July '26)
Each award recipient will receive:
• Free Festival Registration
• One Complimentary Performance Slot (50/50 Box Office Split )
• Full All-Inclusive Festival Package
• Festival Marketing Support
• Industry and Judge Consideration
Selection Process
Productions may be identified through:
• Direct applications
• Judging visits
• Recommendations from reviewers
• Recommendations from producers and presenters
• Members of the press
• Industry referrals
• Conversations throughout Fringe season
Because of the large number of productions participating in Fringe festivals, submission does not guarantee a judging visit.
Final decisions will be made by the 30 Minutes Production Team and additional awards and prizes may be added.
